Showtech Edge Freelance Marketplace Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Showtech Edge Freelance Marketplace ("Marketplace"), a platform that connects freelancers with clients. By accessing or using the Marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Marketplace.

3. Account Registration

To use the Marketplace, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for any activity that occurs under your  account. 

4. Use of the Marketplace

Freelancers: You may use the Marketplace to search for and apply to freelance projects, submit proposals, and communicate with clients.

Clients: You may use the Marketplace to post projects, review proposals, hire freelancers, and manage projects.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Marketplace for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

Post or transmit any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene material.

Use any automated means to access or use the Marketplace.

Impersonate any person or entity.

Interfere with the proper functioning of the marketplace.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the Marketplace and its contents are owned by Showtech Edge or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or modify any of the content without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Marketplace is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. Showtech Edge does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on the Marketplace.

8. Limitation of Liability

Showtech Edge shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Marketplace, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, and consequential damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Showtech Edge from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Marketplace or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

Showtech Edge may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

12. Changes to These Terms
